At Cultivate, we care about making sure that you will have a great experience at your mission site, whether you are there for the summer or a whole year. In order to make sure you and the host site both have a great experience, our application process has several steps.

What to expect:

Complete an application

Download the fillable pdf to submit your application. Our team will reach out to your references with a few simple questions and we'll have you complete a background check.

Interview with us

We will schedule a video call with you.

Match with a host site

We work with our host sites to find the place where your gifts, skills, and passions will fit best (you'll give us your top 3 choices in your application). When a match is made, our team will send you a placement offer. This letter includes your site placement, budget, scholarship amount, and fundraising total.

Prepare to serve!

Once you accept your placement offer, we will work with you to coordinate fundraising efforts, plan travel, and support you as you prepare for your mission experience.
