Where will I serve?
You will serve alongside RCA missionaries and mission partners around the world. View available sites
How long will I serve?
You can serve for a summer or for a year. Summer placements will start in June; yearlong sites start at various times, from summer to early fall.
Am I eligible for Cultivate?
Are you a committed Christian between the ages of 18 and 25? Are you flexible, patient, and open minded? Do you have a desire to learn from and with others? Do you have the courage to try new things, make mistakes, and try again? If you can answer those questions with a “yes,” then you’re just the sort of person we’re looking for.
Process and Cost
Will I need to fundraise?
Yes. All Cultivate participants will need to raise funds to cover the cost of their period of service. We have resources to help you get started and will be there to encourage and support you throughout the process.
What if I have student loans?
Our office can help you through the process of deferring your student loans during your time of service.
When is the application due?
Applications submitted by January 31 will be given priority when considering site requests. Applications will be accepted until March 31, and placements will be made on a rolling basis.
